SWANY WOMENS X-THERM GLOVES The Women's X-Therm Gloves from Swany will keep your hands toasty and warm while allowing for dexterity when you are out and exposed to chilly conditions. Rolled finger construction and advanced insulation technology combine to keep you protected and functional. WATERPROOF / BREATHABLE MEMBRANE INSERTS Membranes are located just inside the outer shell and provide an extra layer of protection against wind and water penetration. High performance waterproof/breathable inserts allow perspiration to escape from the glove and greatly improve overall warmth and comfort. A waterproof, non-breathable insert will keep out the water, but will also trap perspiration. LEATHER PALM The best fit and feel is generally achieved by using high quality leather palms. People who have used leather gloves know that a brief break in period is required before optimum fit and feel is achieved. Leather is especially well suited to cold, dry climates because of its excellent windproofness and natural insulation properties. All of the leathers used by Swany are treated to shed water, but to keep the leather performing at its best, periodic cleaning and re-waterproofing is essential. TRIPLEX-PLUS TECHNOLOGY Insulation and lining are combined in the newly developed Triplex-Plus 3 layer laminate: Conformax, PrimaLoft and Thermogear, providing a material that is waterproof, breathable and provides superior insulated protection from the elements.
